Rowed in the bow seat in the 2009 Blue Boat. Gold medallist in the Canadian eight boat at the 2007 World Cup. A member of the U23 men's eight that won gold at the 2003 World Championships, he also won silver in the coxed fours at the 2004 World Championships and bronze in the 2005 coxless fours at the same event. Spent the summer of 2009 climbing mountains in Washington State, his first summer without rowing in 10 years.
