Rowed in the bow seat in the 2009 Blue Boat. Gold medallist in the Canadian eight boat at the 2007 World Cup. A member of the U23 men's eight that won gold at the 2003 World Championships, he also won silver in the coxed fours at the 2004 World Championships and bronze in the 2005 coxless fours at the same event. Spent the summer of 2009 climbing mountains in Washington State, his first summer without rowing in 10 years.

Member of the Canadian U23 team in 2007 and 2009 and part of the Berkeley crew that won the 2009 San Diego Crew Classic. A huge Edmonton Oilers ice hockey fan whose sporting hero is the legendary Wayne Gretzky. Likes old cars, having fixed up a 1968 Mustang Fastback, and enjoys playing golf and snowboarding.

Rowed in the 7 seat for Goldie in 2009 and competed in the coxed four World Under 23 Championships in the same year. Won gold for GB in the coxless fours in the 2007 Junior World Championships and has ambitions to row in the Olympics. His aunt rowed for GB in the 1970s and his grandfather was a rugby captain at Cambridge. Cycled from Land's End to John O'Groats in 2009. Supports Leicester Tigers.

Began rowing at University in Ontario in 2002 and became Canadian University rowing champion in 2006. Won gold and silver medals at the Commonwealth Rowing Championships in the Canadian eight and coxless four in Melbourne. Member of the winning University of Western Ontario boat at Henley in the Temple Challenge event in 2008. A former mile and 800m runner and University Athlete of the Year in 2008. Aiming for a medal at the London Olympics. A big fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs ice hockey team, having played ice hockey for more than 12 years.

The CUBC President in 2009/10 who rowed in the 2009 Blue Boat in the 5 seat. Began rowing at school in 2000. A double and quadruple sculls US national champion who took bronze in both classes at the 2007 Pan-American Games. Worked as an intern on the Barack Obama Presidential campaign in 2008. Has travelled in 2009 across the US and to Russia, Croatia and France. A big fan of the New England Patriots NFL team.

Won his Blue in 2008 and 2009 and was President of CUBC in 2009, started rowing at school to get stronger for rugby. Represented GB in the quadruple scull at U23 level in 2004. He was the World University Champion in the men's double scull in 2006 and a member of the Light Blue four that won the Stewards' Challenge Cup at Henley in 2008. Tenth in the 2008 Poznan World Cup Regatta with GB. Aiming to make the next GB Olympic team.

Started rowing at University in Madison in 2004. Won the Eastern Sprint and IRA National Championships in 2008, plus the U23 World Championship title in the American eight. His uncle won four IRA National titles when studying at the same university. Became interested in the Boat Race after seeing it on the internet four years ago. A Green Bay Packer NFL football and Milwaukee Brewers MLB baseball team fan who enjoys hunting and waterskiing.

Started rowing at Newcastle University and rowed in the Goldie boat in 2009. Stroked the winning crew at the Prince Albert Challenge Cup at Henley in 2008 and placed fifth in the eights at the U23 World Championships that same year. Considers himself very lucky to have another chance to aim for a Blue Boat seat. Interests in football, cricket and running.

Coxed the Cambridge University Lightweight Blue Boat in 2008. Began coxing at St Paul’s School on the Tideway, went on to cox the school 1st VIII. Studying modern British political history but plans to move into investment banking, and will take up a position with Deutsche Bank in London upon completion of his course. Enjoys fly fishing and cites Eric Cantona as a sporting hero.
